THE FILM

A smart, touching, much needed look into the relevance of the black single father, and his plight after realizing his message of America's dream, may not apply to his children.

01

Inventory is a cinematic journey into subject matter that most people want to sweep under the rug. It is a bold example of courageous film making that forces the viewer into introspection from the first frame.

The film uses your own predetermined judgements based on other  peoples appearances against you. It plays on the pathologies that individual ethnicities have integrated as normal. It points out the absurdity of these thought processes by showing their effects on other cultures. It reveals that these pathologies are based in fear, and it does all of this by using the narrative bio short form. It is 100 percent fact based. Please help us promote this film. It's a five minute gem.

THE MISSION

03

The mission of "Inventory" is just what the title implies. We would love for everyone who views this film to take a personal inventory of how they view other ethnicities on a daily basis. To gain an understanding of the how institutions affect those around you in different ways, based on systematic disenfranchisement and constitutional exclusion. To remind us everyday that a historical context of oppression does not disappear in a generation, especially if the exclusion is still being practiced today. Essentially a man of color will always be treated  more ferociously even if he falls in line with the American Dream. He can still be murdered, or lose a child based on a pathology of evil, fearful thinking. So what message do we pass along to our children?  Reality or a complacent lie which could get them killed?  It's a real issue.

The facts

This is not a a cry for equality. This is a snap shot on how mirroring the American Dream does not elevate how you're viewed by hateful Americans.
